Refurbishment
Refurbishment is a common activity often involving strip out and partial demolition work.
Refurbishment work is renowned for being particularly hazardous as often the risks aren’t as obvious as they would be in other areas such as demolition. Refurbishment works also involve more intricate stripping and dismantling works which must often be undertaken by hand where demolition works can be undertaken mechanically or remotely where persons are usually out of danger.
